Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopement
Melissa and Richard flew in from the UK for their Santa Barbara Courthouse elopement. We arrived at the Hall of Records 10 minutes before their appointment- just enough time for them to realize they had forgotten their ID’s in their hotel room and to give Richard a run for his money. Marriage gods were with him and as you can see from the pictures, it all worked out. Talk about an adrenaline rush at 9AM.
Elopement Time!
It was as intimate as you could get. I served as not only their photographer but witness as well- honor! The weather was great, it was a quiet and cool and it really felt like we had the courthouse to ourselves! We did a full 360 on the property for portraits along with exploring a bit inside (so much to shoot here, the possibilities are endless). From there we headed to the beach to end our session drawing and running in the sand.
Santa Barbara Courthouse continues to be my favorite place to shoot. If you’re from the area, out of the area, it is an absolute amazing option for those wanting to tie the knot intimately. Highly recommend always!!
