Belmond Caruso
This stunning Ravello wedding at Belmond Caruso is where friends came together to celebrate the union of Talia and Randy. I, being a close friend of the bride, had the honor of capturing their special day. Talia has been a great friend since 2015- we met bartending in West Hollywood together at The Surly Goat and was one of my very first models when I started photography! We would do fun shoots when I didn’t really know how to use my camera yet and now here we are. I am her wedding photographer in ITALY- talk about coming around full circle. So special.
Although May is known for prime weather in Italy, it was raining on the day of the wedding. A bit of some beautiful chaos leading up to ceremony time however, just before the ceremony started, the rain stopped, a beautiful rainbow appeared and we never saw another raindrop again. It was truly a magical moment that just added to the already breathtaking setting.
Leading up to the big day
We had a full itinerary that included visits to the picturesque town of Positano, a boat ride to the island of Capri, and a visit to the historic ruins of Pompeii and dinners upon dinners where I ate and drank my heart out. On top of that, I had the pleasure of enjoying this trip with my boyfriend, baby-free. We missed our little Noa but damn did we really need this parent trip!
Dream Trip
A Ravello wedding at Belmond Caruso was the perfect location for this special occasion. From the elegant architecture to the beautiful gardens and scenic views, Belmond Caruso went above and beyond any venue I’ve ever shot at. Also..like it’s Italy. What do you expect?
