A Perfect DIY Santa Barbara Courthouse Wedding: Jenna and Connor’s Intimate Elopement
For couples seeking an intimate experience, a Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding offers an extraordinary option that combines beauty, history, and ease of planning. Jenna and Connor are the perfect example of how a courthouse elopement can capture the essence of love and simplicity, while also being set in one of the most picturesque locations in California.
Meet Jenna and Connor
Jenna and Connor’s journey to the altar is a sweet and personal one. The couple, who both live and work in Washington, D.C., first met on Bumble in 2019. Their very first in-person meeting took place in a basement Dunkin’ Donuts in the same office building where they both worked on Capitol Hill. Despite the humble surroundings, sparks flew, and they quickly realized there was something special between them. Connor proposed in March at the very site of their first date—a date that was meant to last 2 hours but turned into 10. Their wedding date, November 1, 2024, is also incredidibly meaningful—it’s just two days before their 5-year anniversary!
The Beauty of Eloping at the Santa Barbara Courthouse
For Jenna and Connor, a traditional wedding wasn’t what they envisioned. They wanted something a bit more personal—and a Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding delivered. They stayed at the stunning Hotel Californian and dined at fancy restaurants like Bouchon. On the wedding day, makeup and hair was done by Jenna herself while florals were picked up at a local grocery store. And after their “I do’s” rather than running off to do wedding party or family formals, they took it to the coast-line for more pictures!
Enjoy Jenna and Connor’s elopement at the Santa Barbara Courthouse! Anyone planning their own elopement, this one is sure to turn your head! 🙂
