Loughcrew Estate Wedding

There is nothing that exudes charm like Fiona and James’ Loughcrew Estate wedding. Loughcrew Estate, with its Georgian mansion and expansive grounds, has roots dating back to the 17th century. The estate’s beautifully landscaped gardens and rolling hills have witnessed centuries of history, making it a perfect haven of old-world charm and contemporary sophistication. Just a short distance away, St. Plunkett’s Church stands as a beacon of local heritage. This quaint church, dating back to the early 19th century, is named after St. Plunkett, the patron saint of nearby Oldcastle. The church’s classic architectural style make it a beloved spot for ceremonies. These two locations paired together is an Irish dream for a wedding site.

The Couple

This is one of those couples that I vibed with so well, you would think the universe played a huge part into making sure our paths would cross. From our initial phone call, I knew that there was something so special about this inquiry (not just because it would be a destination wedding in Ireland for me!) but because Fiona felt like an old friend. She’s so kind, beautiful and went above and beyond (along with James)to make sure I felt appreciated and taken care from the jump. Dream couple! Dream clients!

The Wedding Day

This Loughcrew Estate Wedding is such an experience that I will never forget. We got slight showers throughout the day (it’s Ireland, what do you expect?!) but I swear it added to the magic of the day. From Getting ready at the Estate, exchanging vows at St. Plunkett’s Church and celebrating with cocktails, Guiness, ice cream, the most epic speeches and best dressed attire- I didn’t want the day to end. Luckily, the sun didn’t set anyways till 10PM 🙂
